Valedictory

Ted Clayton, who died during the past winter, was last at the Club for the I Old Sweats lunch in October 1988. A fine forward in his playing days in the late 1940's, he captained the A XV with distinction and participated in the administration, including a spell as Secretary. His work was recognised by his appointment as a Club Vice President, and he was well liked and respected by all of his contemporaries.
