"Tommy Drayton died in January after a long illness and will be remembered by older members as a hard working forward in the early 1920s when the club played on Ealing Common, and one packed down in the scrum as one arrived. His fine voice will also be recalled, and the younger members may remember evidence of this in his forthright speech at the 90th Anniversary Dinner."
