Two newspaper clippings of the Plymouth Argaum v Ealing game.

"Played at a rousing pace. Ealing went ahead when Mike Williams crossed for a try. George Pym converted. Argaum took the lead through two fine tries by winger Mike Dodds, but Ealing went ahead when Mike Williams scored again. Half time Argaum 6 - 8 Ealing."

"Mike Williams put Ealing ahead with a try, converted by George Pym. Then Argaum, handling beautifully, took the lead with tries by Mike Dodds and Rip Kirby. Ealing led at half time through a Mike Williams try.

Pym landed a penalty goal. But Argaum regained the lead with tries by Ian Mason and Peter Green, the last converted by Colin Burrows. Pym landed another penalty goal to make it 14 - 14 and almost on time winger Martin Nolan got Ealing's winning try."
