This one needs to be looked at, learnt from and then filed under not our finest day for 1871 2’s.
Despite OP’s playing the game with 14 and uncontested scrums they took the game to us for the full 80mins and frankly deserved their victory! They played like a team, encouraging each other and for the most part we didn’t. The highlights for 1871 (good positive warm up and run through) were the line outs and mauls where we showed dominance and scored, hammers and gain line carries were effective in the main but open play (defence and attack) decision making, handling (catch-pass) and protecting the ball in contact are definite work ons.
