Not our finest day, (defeat in whatever manner hurts-remember it) but they do happen and the important thing is to learn what we need to, train and implement that into the remainder of our games. Sarries didn’t reinvent the wheel but made vast amounts of noise 1-15 all day, they implemented the same game plan that their coach told me worked against Brunel, not pretty one out rugby but found us wanting in putting guards and body guards in place quickly to stop them, harassing us at every breakdown and not allowing us to play the expansive game we (and Brunel) like to.

Breakdown area was highlighted to me by the referee (who I think we lost midway through the 2nd half) that Sarries, painted her the picture of being quicker and isolating the man on the ground to win penalties. They fired at many of our ruck balls making our delivery much slower and allowing their defence to get set, again causing us to make errors and gain line advantage much harder.
