Carnarvon Hotel
Alias: Doubletree Hilton
Type: Other

The Carnarvon Hotel on Ealing Common was on the site of the Doubletree Hilton after its owner Albert Harries retired in 2000.

"The 150-bedroom Carnarvon Hotel in Ealing - one of the few remaining large independently owned hotels in west London - looks likely to be sold, following the decision by owner Albert Harris to retire.

Mr Harris, who built the property in 1972 for about £1.5m, said he had not decided on a retirement date but planned to wind down his day-to-day involvement.

He told Caterer he had been approached by a number of big groups interested in purchasing the three-star property, and by smaller groups looking for a London flagship."
