Ealing Cougars gained revenge for their defeat against Civil Service in their first league game of the season.

During that game it was mistakes that cost the Cougars and while there were plenty of mistakes this time around the Cougars made sure we did more than enough to win.

From kick off the Cougars were in total charge of the game and through a series of driving mauls and strong play at the breakdown the Cougars took complete control of the game. The scrum was particularily potent with the Cougars pack driving the Civil Service pack off their own ball at will, so much so was the Cougars dominance that the referee asked the Cougars pack to "ease off them" in the scrum.

There were some good passages of play and the Cougars ran out easy winners at 34 - 0 although the scoreline flatters Civil Service as the score should have been a lot more.
