Club Cabaret Night cancelled due to lack of support.

A gathering of Club Presidents past and present, and their ladies, gathered at The Bull in Gerrards Cross for a celebratory dinner. Plus a further gathering attended by four Past Presidents and a large number of current VPs to ensure that the incoming President Tim Arnold was "dined in". Also a "Fallguys" event attended by 50 Golden Oldies including Jim Lee, who gained his Club Cap in 1929.

Bernard Woelfel is appointed Chevalier of The National Order of Merit in recognition of his 47 years service to France, as a war time mariner in the Free French Navy, and in later years at the French Embassy.

Ricky was up in front of the Middlesex Disciplinary Meeting after something in the Reading match. There is concern that President Tim may "shoot off his mouth too much". Ricky recalls getting four weeks suggesting that Tim held his tongue.

Rhidian Jones offers some principles, derived from personal experience, which he hopes will prove useful to any future Chairman of the Club's Executive Committee.

"For those of us fortunate to have been born in Wales or New Zealand the code of our game is handed down with mother's milk and love. For the underprivileged rest of you rugby football is a recreation which you have chosen to follow. Eighteenth century pornography had an established tradition of narrating events from the viewpoint of some innocent, commonplace object. There are two kinds of rugby player: those that shift pianos and those who play them."

Easter tour to Scotland with victory over Hawick plus a TWAT (Wanderers Alternative/Alcoholic Tour) Tour to the West Country.

Poor attendance a training, down from 95% the previous season, to insufficient numbers to work on scrummaging.

Steve Lee announces that this is his last season as Captain of the Wanderers. When was his first season?

Steve Wilkinson, John Richardson and Adrian Brady represent Middlesex County, with John Richardson going on to represent London Counties.

Did anyone notice a significant milestone in the Club's history? The Club Captain for 1985/86 is a former Colt. So is the 2nd XV Captain! Congratulations to Graham Johnson and Damian Bugeja.

Vice Presidency awarded to Paul Monteith, Bill Strang and Sid Webber.

Season results show 245 games played by 11 teams: six senior, Exiles, Wanders, U19, U17, U16.
