Obituary
Alexis Dodin died after a tragic accident on 13th March 2007. His funeral took place near Lille in France on Friday 23rd March 2007.
Valedictory
Alexis was a pillar of the Exiles both on the pitch as a great second row/back row warrior, and off the pitch as a fantastic friend with a wonderful smile that could bring on the good times to any occasion. Alexis' funeral in France was attended by an almost full team of Exiles who made their way to pay their respects to the great man on a sombre Spring Friday.

Alexis died after a tragic skiing accident and there are quite a few news articles about it found via google, e.g. https://www.aspentimes.com/news/survivor-triggered-deadly-avalanche/
Alexis was definitely playing for the Exiles in 2003, maybe earlier. He had left the Exiles as a regular player by then, as he had moved to live in Argentina working for Total. His leaving do was after his last game for us on 25th March 2006 away against Thamesians.
