Description of the 1971 Dax Tour which included Guest of Honour Tim Arnold can be found HERE. In the tour video Tim is the dashing chap with a moustache second from the front of the Ealing lineout.

The Ealing Trailfinders Women's squad were included for the first time, prior to their transfer into Ealing Trailfinders 1871 later in May.

Of special note is the auction which took place in support of Tom Fawcett in his fight against Lymphona.

Earlier this year, I as one of the Ealing Trailfinders U15s squad, was diagnosed with cancer. This was a shock for me and all who know me. Cancer is often thought as something that affects older people but that is not always the case. As I continue my fight against the disease, my team mates wanted to do something positive. They play in an exhibition match before Ealing Trailfinders Championship game on Saturday 11th March to raise funds for Cancer Research UK to help fund the research into how to improve remission rates, and ultimately find a cure, for this dreadful disease. They are now, along with lots of other great supporters at the club, holding a world record attempt for the greatest number of people at a rugby training session. This will be at Ealing Trailfinders on Sunday 7th May. Please come along so that we can smash the world record, and please join the club and my team mates in showing support for this great cause!
Tom Fawcett - posted HERE.

The world record was duly captured!

Ealing 1871 player, S&C coach and personal trainer Kavan Fitzpatrick auctioned two 2-hours training sessions. These were snapped up by Kean Marden and Justin Green for the princely sum of £600 each which was donated to Tom's appeal
